Starting Fresh

To begin somewhere simple, my name is Shannon Goettsche.  I grew up in Anaheim, California otherwise known as the home of Disneyland.  That place was my home away from home when I was little and I am not afraid to say that yes, I still am a huge fan of Disneyland.  When I was eleven years old my family moved to Alpine, Utah which is where I currently just came from.  I've really enjoyed my time here in Utah and have spent it learning and developing several different activities.  At the start of my Utahan life I found joy in ice skating.  While it was painfully cold at sometimes it was very exciting.  Then I played the flute, piano, violin and am currently fooling around with guitar. It's a work in progress. I also love to dance! I think dancing will always be a passion.  I was on a dance team for a couple years and spent my high school experience on the cheer squad.  And now here I am...high school is complete and BYU has begun.
I'm excited to work hard, dive right in and become a better writer.  I do happen to enjoy writing, depending on the topic of course, but I've always had fun with the task.  As of right now, I want to minor in sign language and hopefully major in pharmacy.  If you haven't noticed yet, I am constantly fingerspelling! It's a habit, whether good or bad, I have acquired.  Quite frankly I am in love with the language and hope to become an interpreter.  I can't wait to see what the future has in store...
With that being said, I love to talk and make new friends! If you would like to know more I would love to be of assistance.

  1. Anaheim eh? Cool. Kind of unfortunate that you had to bounce here to Utah, even though it ROCKS! That's way cool about your sign language thing. My sister started to pick it up and had the same habit. It was pretty cool, she got way fast. I bet you're pretty fast too if its a habit. Peace!
